24 Hour Hockey Fundraiser
On the 7th November students from Sir John Talbot’s School took part in a 24hour hockey tournament in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance and Children in Need. The event, organised by sixth form students was a great success with over fifty students from all year groups taking part in raising £1573!
Deputy head girl Jodie White said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to all who donated and helped to run this event and to the local companies Grocontinental, Belton Cheese, Psycle, Target Feeds Ltd and Stelex who all made generous donations to the cause. It was so lovely to see staff and students come together in raising money for such great causes. The event raised £1000 over its initial target which is amazing and it was wonderful to be a part of such an enthusiastic team”.
