Bronze DofE Training
Twenty Year 9 students from Sir John Talbot’s School participated in their Bronze DofE training expedition in the Clun Valley, South Shropshire last weekend. The expedition saw groups walking along Offa’s Dyke and the Shropshire Way in some glorious, sunny weather.
The students all demonstrated very impressive levels of camp craft skills and teamwork, while their navigational skills improved dramatically during the second day – once they had realised the importance of paying attention to the map at all times!
They are now all ready to undertake their Qualifying Expedition which will take place on the 10th and 11th June.
