A group of our students are training to become ‘Health Champions.’ They will be joining other students and the NHS to run projects which aim to improve services for the health and wellbeing of young people in Shropshire. They attended their first training day on Saturday 9th May at The Beech Tree Community Centre in Whitchurch. The Health Champion project is being run by the youth service in conjunction with the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group and is partially funded by the National Lottery.
The students are to be applauded for giving up some of their own time to be involved in this valuable, much needed work.
