History Students Explore Early Modern History
Year 8 History students at Sir John Talbot’s School were recently tasked to create mood boards depicting key elements of our country’s culture in the 16th and 17th centuries.
After researching British culture and how it was affected by key figures from both Britain and overseas, they set about creating their presentation boards, which took in everything from superstitious beliefs such as witchcraft to scientific discoveries and the theatre and art of the time. The mood boards were then used to show their conclusions as to which areas had the biggest impact on British culture during this period.
