Liverpool Art Trip

As part of the GCSE course in Art, Photography & 3D Design, 51 students spent the day visiting galleries and taking urban photographs in Liverpool City Centre. The trip forms an essential part of the course as it allows students to gain experience, ideas and skills in taking photographs. All of the work taken during the trip will be used in the classroom on their return and will form the basis of a unit of coursework to support the Personal Portfolio section of the GCSE. Year 11 students have been focusing on their transport topic and so gathered lots of photographs of boats, buses and cars. Our Year 10 students have begun with an organic form project and therefore the trip allowed them the opportunity to gather many fabulous photographs from the World museum of bugs, animals and plants.
