Outstanding Achievement For Sir John Talbot’s School Sixth Form – A Level Results Day

Sir John Talbot’s Sixth Form students and staff are celebrating having achieved record A level results for the school. Students can now reap the rewards of their hard work and plan for the future. The average grade is a strong C, with Art, English, Maths, Philosophy and Psychology having 100% of students achieving A*- C and Maths and Psychology achieving 100% A* –  B

 Headteacher, Mr David O’Toole, commented, “I am incredibly proud of all our students and what they have achieved. They have all worked incredibly hard and deserve to celebrate their personal success. Sir John Talbot’s students are well rounded and many have achieved the Duke of Edinburgh award up to Gold standard and all have achieved the Extended Project award. Our tutors and staff know all the students individually and ensure advice and guidance is personalised resulting in an excellent experience for everyone.”

Mr O’Toole continued, “All our students are able to make positive plans for September with most students taking up their first choice university places. We wish all our students well as they move on to their next career step.”

Executive Headteacher of The Marches Academy Trust, Sarah Longville, was “delighted with the excellent results and the opportunities created for all the students at Sir John Talbot’s” and wished to “thank all the parents for the outstanding support they have provided during their children’s education at Sir John Talbot’s School.”
