RAF Cosford STEM Challenge
Year 10 Technology and Level 2 Engineering students were recently invited to take part in the build a glider challenge organised and run by the RAF Cosford STEM ambassadors. The event took place at Sir John Talbot’s School and provided challenge and enjoyment for all who took part. The brief was to design a glider to carry a bottle of water over an extended distance. The students involved developed team working, understanding of centre of gravity and aspects of aerodynamics. Well done to the students and staff involved.
