Silver DofE Training Expedition
It wouldn’t be an SJT DofE trip without some snow. And even though last weekend’s Silver Training Expedition took place as April turned to May, the adverse weather did not let the students down.
Once again our DofE participants found themselves battling against the elements, walking in sleet, snow and hail across the Berwyn Mountains near Llangollen. The weather did not faze them at all though and Adrienn, Ben, Callum, Nadine and Shola all passed their training expedition with flying colours. They showed excellent navigational skills, even with the very difficult conditions, and despite the fact they were carrying rucksacks covered in snow, they all kept smiling and worked extremely well as a team.
