Students Make The A Level Grade at SJT
Students receiving A Level results at Sir John Talbot’s Sixth Form were ‘jumping for joy’ as the school revealed another excellent set of results. David O’Toole, Headteacher at Sir John Talbot’s School, is “absolutely delighted” with his students’ A level results.
Mr O’Toole continues: “This cohort of students should be justifiably proud of their remarkable achievements. They have worked tirelessly throughout the past two years to achieve these fantastic results. A Levels are incredibly demanding and our students have completed them alongside commitments such as the Duke of Edinburgh gold award and part-time jobs. This has required enormous diligence, resilience and dedication from them. All teachers at Sir John Talbot’s School strive to bring out the best in every student they teach and to aim for all potential to be fully realised. It is wonderful when the partnership between the student, teacher and parents brings about such success. “
Results shone across the spectrum with:
100% of students achieved at least one A*- E A level grade.
44% of students achieved 1 or more A*- B grade.
100% of students who took A levels in music or theatre studies gained A*-C grades.
