Whitchurch 10K Goes The Extra Mile
The second annual Sir John Talbot’s School, Whitchurch 10K is fast approaching on Sunday 8th April and runners have been given the superb opportunity to participate in a series of training runs with local running club Whitchurch Whippets throughout the month of March.
Howard Prince, Event Organiser said, “It has been great to see so many runners taking advantage of the training sessions despite the adverse weather last weekend. A special thank you to Whitchurch Whippets for leading on the runs and taking us the extra mile each week.”
“The training sessions are designed for all abilities including those who are new to running, individuals wishing to improve upon their performance or for runners who wish to join a group session.
Training sessions taking place on 11th and 18th March will both be a distance of 5 miles before the full 10K course is endured on 25th March, preparing runners for the big day.
There are still places available for both the Sir John Talbot 10K and the preparation runs. For more information and for booking a place, please visit the website: www.sirjohntalbots.co.uk/ or contact 01691 664407 for details.
