Whitchurch Career Fest
Whitchurch Career Fest will be taking place at St Alkmund’s Church on Thursday 19th October between 9:30 and 3pm. The event organised in partnership with Sir John Talbot’s School will provide the ideal opportunity for everyone seeking a new job, career change or discussing future opportunities within Whitchurch and the surrounding areas.
Whitchurch Career Fest will provide access to local employers including Grocontinental, Blackhurst Garage, Belton Cheese, Whitchurch Library, Greenfields Care Home and Barnardo’s who are seeking talented candidates for a variety of disciplines including hospitality, health care, service industry, administration, management and retail.
Joanne Jones, Business Manager from The Marches Academy Trust said “Whitchurch Career Fest is an ideal opportunity for our students and local residents to discover the wide range of roles and apprenticeships available within the locality to assist them in the planning of their futures.”
The Revd Canon Dr Judy Hunt said, “We are delighted to be hosting this event and pleased that Amy Farley, the Economic Growth Coordinator of the Marches Growth Hub will be with us. Come and chat to her about your hopes or concerns for businesses in the area at any time during the day. She will be speaking at 12.50pm”.
