Whitchurch Christmas Lights Switch-On

Our Year 8 Enterprise Group worked very hard to produce a selection of items, which they sold on their stall on Saturday at the Whitchurch Christmas Lights Switch-On. They traded from 10:00am to 3.15pm, selling handmade cards, cookie jars and Christmas decorations amongst other items. The students were a real credit to Sir John Talbot’s. Mrs Barlow who accompanied the group was really proud of how hard they worked on the day and in the sessions leading up to the event. Keith Robinson, Assistant Site Manager at SJT also made an appearance at the students’ stand, ahead of switching on the Christmas lights after deservingly being awarded ‘Whitchurch Citizen of the Year’.
