Year 5 Creative Day
Following a highly enjoyable Year 6 Welcome Event in April, Sir John Talbot’s will be inviting Year 5 pupils into the school on Wednesday 22nd June for a whole day of creativity. The Creative Day will offer younger pupils the chance to enjoy a selection of practical workshops in Drama, Music, DT and Journalism throughout the day, giving them the opportunity to experience how fun and enjoyable learning can be.
As well as allowing pupils to discover how exciting and enlightening school life can be, the day will offer them the chance to explore the school, to talk to current students and to find out first-hand about the wealth of opportunities available to SJT students. Then, in the evening, the school will welcome back the pupils along with their parents for a Year 5 Creative Show, featuring performances and presentations of the work the children will have created during the day.
The evening portion of the event will begin at 6pm with light refreshments in the hall. After a welcome from Headteacher David O’Toole, the pupils will then get to showcase their talents, offering the assembled audience a chance to see musical and dramatic performances. They will also be presenting information all about their journalistic experiences and the products created in DT.
If you would like to learn more about the event, please call Adam Howes, Marketing and PR Assistant at the school, on 01948 660606 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
