How does the school communicate information to parents?

We communicate regularly and effectively via email. If you are not currently receiving emails from the school and would like to, please contact us:

Where an email address is not provided, letters will be sent home via students or posted.

Lots of useful information is posted on the School Website including letters/emails, latest news stories, exam information, event details, term dates, Parents’ Evening dates etc. Please check the website regularly for updates and information. Paper copies of all information on the site are available and will be given free of charge.

In certain circumstances, we may contact you via phone/text (where a mobile number is provided).

How do parents contact the school?

Attendance/Absence Reporting
If your child is absent from school please telephone 01948 660600 and select the student absence line to leave a message. It is important that you make contact with school each day your child is absent (unless prior arrangements have been made). If we have not received a reason for the absence, a text message will be sent to the mobile numbers held on our system asking for a reason.

Contacting your child’s Form Tutor
Apart from reporting absence, your child’s Form Tutor should be your first point of contact. Please email Form Tutors directly or contact the school using the contact details below.

Contacting your child’s Progress Leader (Head of Year)
Progress Leaders may not always be available via telephone during the school day. If you wish to speak to your child’s Progress Leader, please email them directly or contact the school using the contact details below.

For general enquiries from parents/carers and members of the public please email: or 01948 660600.
