EDIB

The Marches Academy Trust have begun a robust programme to embed a culture of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB).

Our EDIB agenda will be supported by a comprehensive governance process which will incorporate wide stakeholder engagement.

Here at Sir John Talbot’s School, we believe that everybody should be able to enjoy their time here without being made to feel uncomfortable by the thoughtless or hurtful behaviour of others.

  1. We will not accept any form of discrimination on any grounds including, but not limited to, gender, sexuality, race, religion or disability.
  2. We will not tolerate conversations that involve derogatory comments or words and phrases that are discriminatory.
  3. We seek to make our school as inclusive and accessible as possible. If you identify anything that we could improve then please contact our EDIB Ambassador, Ms Webb: Hannah.Webb@sjt.mmat.co.uk
