Royal Marines Visit

Last week The Royal Marines visited the school. The purpose of the visit was to give Year 10 students an insight into careers in the Royal Marines. During the visit, students took part in some physical training, some team games and a question and answer session with serving marines. Mrs Newey, Head of Year 9 commented, ‘this is a wonderful opportunity for students to see what a career in the military is really like, students had a fantastic day and left the sessions smiling, they all worked incredibly hard and embraced the opportunity, they were a credit to the school’.
