Student displays incredible inventiveness

Charlie Sanderson has been creating ear savers using his 3D printer to support our key workers which is incredibly inventive. He has distributed these devices to many grateful medical staff, including five hospitals in Leicestershire and two in Shropshire. Charlie shared ‘I was really lucky to be given my 3D Printer by a family friend, so I felt it was only right to put it to good use, helping others out. I’m going to make some now for the carers at my nanas care home too. This is a picture of my mum’s friend who has been redeployed to a COVID positive ward at Leicester General Hospital, she said they work really, really well and everyone is appreciating them’. We are so incredibly proud of Charlie’s initiative and dedication.
