Student Spotlight | Charlotte Perkins creates amazing felt poppies

A massive well done to Year 10 student Charlotte Perkins who has shown fantastic initiative and creativity in her fundraising. Ahead of Remembrance Day Charlotte is making a number of felt poppy designs over half term to sell to staff. Charlotte commented “I wanted to do something different this year and I like sewing and crochet so I thought I would make poppies and raise money for the Royal British Legion. My target was to raise at least £50 but I have already raised £70″. If you would like one of her poppies, Charlotte’s designs will be available in MOO and BOOM in town, so why not head over there after half term and make a donation to the worthwhile cause – whilst stocks last!
