Match report: SJT U13 Girls’ put on a brave performance against the National Champions 

The Priory School 2-1 Sir John Talbot’s School

The match was a great watch for a neutral as there was some extremely talented footballers on show. The SJT girls’ stepped up and matched the champions and fully deserved coming in at 0-0 at half time.

The Priory’s class started to show as they begun to dominate during the early stages of the second half. They scored two quick fire goals which stunned our girls. The SJT side had lots of the ball towards the end of the game and their hard work was rewarded as Sienna Wilson performed an over head kick to lob the goalkeeper.

Well done to The Priory School who go through to the County Cup Final and we would like to wish them the best of luck. Many thanks to all parents for your support!
