Unsung Hero

We would like to recognise one of our staff members who whilst on holiday during the summer came across a young child who was not breathing. Keith Robinson, assistant site manager at Sir John Talbot’s School had arrived at the airport when he was made aware that his first aid skills were needed.

A young child had stopped breathing and required immediate first aid. Keith immediately took control of the situation and revived the lifeless child whose parents were understandably very distraught. Due to the extensive training that Keith had due to being part of the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, it is safe to say, he saved this young child’s life.

We are extremely proud of Keith and the actions he took on this day – an incredible role model to the school and the Fire Service.
