Interactive WW1 Workshop

Year 10 and 11 historians enjoyed a brilliant experience on Monday. An external company, Frontline Living History visited school and presented a workshop about Britain on the Western Front in the First World War – a core part of the GCSE History syllabus. Students had the opportunity to interact with real First World War artefacts including; a Thomas Splint, Lee Enfield rifles, a real life stretcher, full uniforms, gas masks and surgical equipment. Alongside receiving knowledgeable information they have been able to re-enact scenarios and get a true First World War experience. Thank you to Frontline Living History for a fantastic informative workshop!
