SJT students attend The Marches Academy Trust’s ‘Big Sing’

Before the break some of our students had the opportunity to go to the Whitchurch Civic Centre to take part in the first ‘Big Sing’ – a cross Trust event that saw a number of schools who are part of The Marches Academy Trust (Tilstock CE Primary School and Nursery, Lower Heath CE Primary School and Nursery, Longlands Primary School and Nursery, The Grove School and Sixth Form and The Marches School and Sixth Form) come together to perform.

It was such a brilliant day, with the students taking part in fun vocal warm-up sessions before taking to the stage for their school  performances. A particular highlight of the event was the moment when all the schools came together to sing ‘Rule the World’. Our students really did us proud with their singing! A huge congratulations and thank you also to Mr Calderbank and Mr Stonall for organising this event.
