Creative Craft & Cookery House Competition

Last Thursday saw our tutor groups put together their table top craft and cookery displays. They were challenged to create a poem, a picture, a cake, flower arrangement and any other items that could come under the theme ‘Harvest’. The displays were outstanding and we were so impressed with the effort that the students had put in to create such brilliant displays. Later that afternoon we welcomed guest judges Mrs Karen Jones, who is an ex-student and Mrs Caroline Hollins, from South Cheshire Catering to judge the students efforts. With the quality of the displays being extremely high, it was impossible to choose between the top scoring creations, this resulted in three tutor groups: HW, JT and CB in a tie for 1^st place with 56 points!
