Geography Fieldwork Trip to Liverpool

As part of their GCSE study into the urban regeneration of Liverpool, the Year 10 Geographers spent the day in the city to see if the regeneration of Liverpool One and The Albert Docks had been a success. Students worked hard throughout the day surveying the land use, number of pedestrians, environmental quality and asking the general public their views on the Albert Docks. The data the students collected will be used to determine if the projects have been a success in preparation for their exams next year. A new addition to the day was a look at the range of housing redevelopment projects in the city. This ranged from the smart city apartments of the Albert docks, the £1 houses in Toxteth and the community cooperative housing project in Vauxhall.
