Participants volunteering efforts recognised by the The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme

Volunteering is a key part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme, having both a huge impact on a young person’s life, and on the wider community. The DofE have recently been celebrating #VolunteersWeek and as such have sent us a certificate celebrating the impact of our DofE group’s volunteering.

We are proud to share that participants from Sir John Talbot’s School dedicated 611 hours to volunteering between April 2020 and March 2021, with a social value of £2780.05! This is a fantastic achievement for both our students and DofE coordinators and we are very proud that students have dedicated so many hours despite the pandemic. A big well done to them all!
