Students come together to celebrate their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award success

In the last twelve months 58 students from Sir John Talbot’s School have completed an award at Bronze, Silver or Gold Level. The awards were kindly presented by Stephanie Carey, a stunt actor and driver. Stephanie has appeared in many blockbuster movies including Gravity and Cruella as well as many TV programmes, performing many ground-breaking stunts. She showed how many of the skills and physical activities which participants are doing for their DofE awards are also part of her job. The inspirational talk really showed participants that DofE is just the start of a life journey which can take you anywhere you want to go – including Hollywood!

Congratulations to all the participants who received an award and a special shout-out to Harry, Andrew and Alex in Year 13 who have recently completed their Gold award!”
